Woman airlifted to Nashville hospital after jumping from moving vehicle

A woman was flown to a Nashville hospital Saturday afternoon after jumping from a moving vehicle on I-24 in Christian County.
WKDZ reports that according to Christian County Sheriff’s deputies, a man picked up the woman in Paducah and was giving her a ride to Clarksville, when she jumped from the vehicle.
Reports say she tried to run from law enforcement and emergency personnel when they arrived.
She was airlifted to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of injuries.
The incident occurred just after 5:00 pm at the 78 mile marker, between Cadiz and Oak Grove.
