Smoke from Kentucky wildfire creating haze in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Lexington hearth officers affirm that smoke from wildfires in Estill County is making a haze in Fayette County.

Tuesday, a State of Emergency was declared in Estill County as a result of rising hearth close to Pitts Street.

A number of viewers have reported seeing haze and robust smells of smoke in numerous elements of Lexington.

Captain Jessica Bowman with the Lexington Fireplace Division informed WKYT that the scent of smoke all through the town just isn’t associated to any energetic incidents in Lexington.

She says a burn ban might be issued in Fayette County on Wednesday.
