Sen. Ben Sasse to meet with University of Florida students Monday

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WOWT) – Nebraska Sen. Ben Sasse begins assembly with college students and college of the College of Florida Monday morning.

The second-term congressman from Fremont introduced that if all goes nicely in Florida for the following month when it comes to the meet and greets, he’ll resign his senate seat someday in mid-December.

On Thursday the college introduced that Sasse was its lone candidate to be the following president.

Sen. Sasse spent 5 years as president of Midland College in Fremont.

Gov. Ricketts has stated he gained’t appoint himself, that means the following governor of Nebraska will decide who replaces Sen. Sasse.
