Florida boy, 6, missing for 2 months found in Canada

(Grey Information) – Authorities say a lacking 6-year-old Florida boy was discovered unhurt in Canada. His father and grandmother have been arrested in relation to the case.

An Amber Alert was issued after 6-year-old Jorge “JoJo” Morales went lacking Aug. 27 from his Miami dwelling. Police believed he was kidnapped by his father, 45-year-old Jorge Morales, and paternal grandmother, 68-year-old Lilliam Morales, in line with the U.S. Marshals Service.

The boy’s father was reportedly in a custody battle together with his mom.

The Miami Dade-Police Division and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police introduced Sunday that Jorge was discovered within the Canadian province of New Brunswick. He was stated to be in “good well being and unhurt.”

The boy’s father and grandmother had been each arrested by RCMP. They had been needed on felony prices of custodial interference, the U.S. Marshals stated.

Investigators say Jorge was discovered because of a tipster, who noticed the boy and his father at Walmart, in line with the Nationwide Middle for Lacking & Exploited Youngsters.
