WASHINGTON, Oct 1 (Reuters) – Florida Governor Ron DeSantis stated SpaceX Chief Government Elon Musk agreed to supply the corporate’s satellite tv for pc web service, Starlink, for assist in response to Hurricane Ian in areas of Southwest Florida nonetheless with out connectivity.

“We’re working with Elon Musk and Starlink satellite tv for pc. They’re positioning these Starlink satellites to supply good protection in Southwest Florida and different affected areas,” DeSantis advised reporters on Saturday. “We expect 120 further giant Starlink items to deploy to Southwest Florida.”
