38-year-old Jorge Luis Alvarado Blanco was arrested and charged for killing his spouse on March 14.

A person was arrested for stabbing and killing his spouse in North Austin on Tuesday, Austin police stated.

Police stated on March 14, round 3:14 p.m., officers responded to a name relating to a stabbing at an condominium advanced within the 11700 block of Metric Boulevard. 

When officers arrived, they discovered Minerva Jimenez with stab wounds inside an condominium. She died minutes later.

Round 3:25 p.m., officers responded to a different name reporting a person, 38-year-old Jorge Luis Alvarado Blanco, threatening to leap off the West Palmer Lane bridge over North I-35.
