Brenda Louise Pittman Nelson of Lago Vista, TX (beforehand Austin, TX) went residence to Jesus on account of problems with Covid on Could 16, 2022 on the age of 79.Brenda was born on July 27, 1942 in Chicago, IL. She then lived on Hamilton Discipline Base, Novato, CA; traveled on the Basic Darby ship to Earlestown, England; after which her single mom and siblings moved to Crystal Metropolis, TX.
She was first chair flute and piccolo within the marching band and graduated from Crystal Metropolis Excessive Faculty, Crystal Metropolis, TX with the category of 1960. She was referred to as “Beepy” or “Pity” to her mates. She attended Southwest Texas Junior Faculty in Uvalde, TX and Austin Neighborhood Faculty in Austin, TX.
She was an distinctive and devoted spouse to LeeRoy Nelson.
Brenda was a single, hardworking, loving mother. She is survived by her kids, Karen Yvonne Rodriquez (and husband Julio), Tammie Lea Nelson; William Roy Nelson (and spouse Aileen), and Joseph Michael Nelson; her grandchildren, Daniel Bennett Rodriquez (and spouse Jennifer), Julianna Adelita Clemmer, Lauren Victoria Kirkhart (and husband Gavin),Cole Michael Nelson, Andrew Mares Rodriquez, and Layla White-Nelson; her great-grandchildren, Daniel Paul Rodriquez and Illiana Louise Rodriquez; and her siblings, Jerry Leroy Pittman (and spouse Vicki), George Henry Pittman, and Priscilla Anne Blaiss (and husband Dennis).
She is preceded in demise by her mom, Mary Lavenia Irene Trotter Pittman Hayes and her father, Ivan Allen Pittman.
She loved dancing, occurring cruises, water snowboarding, enjoying musical devices (piano, flute, piccolo, handbells), educating Sunday Faculty and Trip Bible Faculty, singing within the church choir, enjoying within the church hand bell choir, touring, bowling in tournaments, going to concert events and performs, collaborating within the Capitol 10k, seeing ice skating exhibits, stitching, and knitting.
From 1956 to her retirement with the State of Texas (Manufactured Housing, Division of Housing & Neighborhood Affairs), she labored on the Guild Theater, Crystal Metropolis, TX; Nationwide Publishing Firm (writer of The Texas Nationwide Bus Information), Austin, TX; Tupperware, Austin, TX; Calame, Linebarger & Graham attorneys, Austin, TX; Jerry Shiever, lawyer, Austin, TX; Texas Division of Licensing & Regulation (previously State Buying & Basic Companies Fee); and the Texas Division of Housing & Neighborhood Affairs.
Brenda shall be deeply missed by her household, mates, and all who knew her.
On Could 25, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. there shall be a visitation for household (2:30 p.m. open to the general public), the funeral service at 3:30 p.m. at Prepare dinner-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral House in Pflugerville. Following the service, she shall be laid to relaxation at Prepare dinner-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, which is adjoining to the funeral residence.
