Suspect thanks victims with kind words after robbing Waffle House, police say
NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – A robber with form phrases for his victims struck a South Carolina Waffle Home early Friday.
The theft occurred round 3:45 a.m. on the 24-hour eatery in North Augusta, based on the North Augusta Division of Public Security.
A Black male carrying a grey long-sleeve shirt, tan pants, black tennis footwear and a black ski masks walked across the constructing and entered, based on officers.
He then pointed a black handgun and informed staff to open the register, WRDW reviews.
Considered one of them complied, placing all of the money in a Waffle Home to-go bag and handing it to the robber, based on authorities.
“God bless you. I didn’t need to damage anybody,” the robber replied, based on a report from the North Augusta Division of Public Security.
The robber ran out the door and jumped into the rear seat of a silver sedan that was parked in the midst of the highway, which then left, the officers reported.
