AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The Give Youngsters a Smile Program has returned to a neighborhood elementary faculty.

College students in Augusta College’s Dental Hygiene Program visited A. Brian Merry Elementary Faculty teaches college students about diet and find out how to correctly handle their tooth with hands-on actions.

Kandyce A’See, an affiliate professor of dental hygiene at Augusta College, says, “Our dental hygiene college students took the time to search out grade stage, hands-on actions that they’ll spend time doing to make them perceive how outdoors components have an effect on their tooth and the way they’ll handle them to forestall cavities and gum illness.

Brandi Jones and Stephanie C. Mack, principal, and counselor, acknowledged, “We wish to harness and foster self-care and educate the kids find out how to handle themselves, good diet, greatest practices for dental hygiene wellness and simply a wide range of issues for his or her progress and improvement.”

Leaders with Augusta College say that is one thing they want to proceed, and hope to deliver college students again to the Dental School totally free cleanings and different issues sooner or later.
