Augusta native Frank Yerby honored with historic marker

Richmond County leaders paid tribute to Augusta native Frank Yerby. The state historic marker was unveiled close to the nook of Eighth and Corridor Road off Laney Walker Boulevard.
Yerby was born in Augusta in 1916. Throughout his profession, he printed 33 novels, 12 of which turned New York Instances Bestsellers. Three of Yerby’s books had been was main movement footage.
