Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority celebrates founders’ day and reflects on local impact

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – One native chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. celebrated the sorority’s founders’ day at Paine Faculty on Sunday. They’ve solid the values of “sisterhood and repair to all mankind” by scholarships and group service in Augusta.

The Zeta Xi Omega Chapter is ensuring these values reign true as we speak as they have a good time their a hundred and fifteenth Founders’ day.

“We stand on the shoulders of giants and the issues that they’ve performed to get us the place we’re as we speak,” stated Zeta Xi Omega President Tameka Allen stated.

The Zeta Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., has been serving Augusta for 68 years.
