Alert canceled after missing Augusta senior found safe

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Workplace canceled an alert after a lacking senior was discovered protected.

Willie Walker Roland, 71, had final been seen round 3 a.m. Tuesday within the 2500 block of Blackstone Road West, leaving his residence on foot. He was sporting a grey and white gown.

Authorities issued an alert Thursday for the general public to be looking out for him, however later canceled the alert when he was discovered.
