Zoo Atlanta hawk killed by wild animal, officials say

ATLANTA – Zoo Atlanta is mourning the sudden dying of a Harris Hawk named, Tahoe.
Zoo officers mentioned Friday Tahoe died from an altercation with a wild animal in a “safe outside mew” inside the zoo.
Zoo Atlanta continues to be working to find out what occurred, and so they plan to implement methods to additional shield animals within the outside mews.
Tahoe hatched in 1999 and took part within the zoo’s “World of Wild Theater” performances for about 20 years.
