Women’s Basketball Announces Non-Conference Slate

The Arkansas girls’s basketball crew’s 15-game non-conference schedule has been unveiled, as introduced by sixth-year head coach Mike Neighbors Wednesday. Arkansas’ non-conference slate consists of seven contests performed at Bud Walton Enviornment with the primary being towards Central Arkansas on Friday, Nov. 11. The Hogs will play three highway video games, in addition to partake in two tournaments – the Paradise Jam within the Virgin Islands and the San Diego Invitational.

“There isn’t a query this non-conference slate may have us prepared for SEC play,” stated Neighbors. “Coach [Todd] Schaefer works yr round to make sure we construct an NCAA-worthy schedule. It’s a puzzle that adjustments till the final contract is signed, sealed and delivered.”

The Razorbacks are set to open the season within the Pure State at Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Monday, Nov. 7. Following their sport towards the Golden Lions, Arkansas will host three straight at house, starting with the home-opening sport versus Central Arkansas on Friday, Nov. 11.

The Hogs will wrap up the homestand with video games towards Tulsa (Monday, Nov. 14) and Kent State (Thursday, Nov. 17) earlier than heading to the State Capitol to face Little Rock on the highway on the Jack Stephens Middle (Sunday, Nov. 20).

The 2022 U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam bracket and schedule was launched in June. Arkansas is about to play Northern Arizona (Thursday, Nov. 24 at 5:45 p.m.), Clemson (Friday, Nov. 25 at 8 p.m.) and Kansas State (Saturday, Nov. 26 at 8 p.m.) on the College of the Virgin Islands Sports activities and Health Middle.

“First… No… we don’t want further coaches for this highway journey! The journey to the Virgin Islands will give us three high quality opponents, three varied kinds of play from three totally different leagues,” stated Neighbors.

In December, the Hogs will probably be house for 4 straight video games at Bud Walton. On Thursday, Dec. 1, the Hogs are set to host Troy, as former Hog and now assistant coach Chelsea Dungee will return to Fayetteville. The Hogs will wrap up the week towards Oral Roberts (Sunday, Dec. 4). Arkansas will then play host to Lamar (Thursday, Dec. 8) earlier than taking part in its closing house sport in 2022 towards Arkansas State (Sunday, Dec. 11).

“Our house schedule wraps with a closing in-state opponent [Arkansas State]. Coach [Destinee] Rogers will lead her Pink Wolves into Bud for first time ever. Taking up as head coach mid-year, her crew rallied to a powerful end and constructed momentum over summer season,” stated Neighbors. “We hope for a report crowd for this one!”

The Hogs will search for a rematch towards Creighton, this time on the highway in Omaha, Nebraska on the CHI Well being Middle on Dec. 17. Arkansas then winds up the non-conference schedule on the San Diego Invitational. The Hogs open up event play versus Oregon (Tuesday, Dec. 20) and can face both Ohio State or Virginia Tech on Wednesday, Dec. 21.
