Oklahoma man involved in deadly wrong-way crash in western Arkansas
MULBERRY, Ark. — A wrong-way driver on Interstate 40 in western Arkansas collided with a gaggle of motorcyclists, killing three individuals from Louisiana and injuring six others, based on Arkansas State Police.
Patricia Lemar, 44, of Slidell, Louisiana; Leonard Lemar Jr., 46, of Slidell; and Malinda Shano, 50 of Terrytown, Louisiana, died within the crash close to Mulberry on Thursday, based on a preliminary report from police.
The injured have been hospitalized in undisclosed situation, based on the report.
A bunch of motorcyclists have been westbound on the interstate about 115 miles (185 kilometers) west of Little Rock after they collided with an eastbound pickup within the westbound lanes.
The truck was pushed by Ivan Santos of Norman, Oklahoma, who, together with a passenger within the car, was among the many injured, based on the report.
The report doesn’t state whether or not Santos was cited. Jail data don’t present Santos to be in custody and courtroom data present no prices filed towards him.
