The largest provider of dental benefits in the state, Delta Dental of Arkansas can also boast that it is the only company named among the Best Places to Work since the recognition program began in 2013.
If you’re keeping score, that’s 11 years.
Delta Dental annually treats more than 800,000 Arkansans. The not-for-profit company works through its philanthropic Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation, which in the past three years has donated more than $3 million to support oral health in Arkansas.
With more than 200 on staff, Delta Dental of Arkansas has consistently shown itself to have the kind of winning combination of culture, perks, benefits and more that attracts employees and keeps them happy in their work.
Employees are encouraged to take part in career development and leadership programs, with opportunities to advance within the company. Competitive salaries with a bonus system, benefits, generous paid time off, employee recognition and plenty of celebrations and fun events combine to make Delta Dental the kind of healthy workplace that consistently earns positive notice.
Driven by its core values and strengthened by committees and programs that range from diversity, equity and inclusion to employee morale, Delta Dental puts its effort into improving all aspects of work and work-life balance.
Whether enjoying 100% dental coverage (naturally) or taking part in the weeklong Delta Cup challenges in October, Delta Dental employees can check most of the boxes that workers are emphasizing in today’s competitive job market.
“As a company, we will continue to invest in our people, nurture their talents and champion their smiles,” said Delta Dental President and CEO Kristen Merlo when this year’s recognition was announced, “because we firmly believe that when employees are happy, inspired and appreciated, they will achieve extraordinary things for our customers and members.”
