Arkansas State football lands first QB commit for 2023

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – East Forsyth (N.C.) quarterback Jaylen Raynor is coming to Arkansas State, the soon-to-be senior announced on Twitter Friday.

The 6-1, 205-pound dual-threat QB had 32 whole touchdowns (19 passing, 13 speeding) in his junior season, throwing for two,304 yards and including 973 extra on the bottom.

He earned a number of honors through the season, together with the journalnow.com All-Space First Crew and All-Central Piedmont 4A choice. Within the classroom, Raynor has a 4.33 GPA.

He acquired a proposal from the Crimson Wolves again in Could, committing to A-State over Wofford, Military, Navy, Air Power, UMass, Miami (OH) and others.
