Arkansas adds early pledge from Class of 2026 OL out of Georgia
Arkansas football added an early commitment from Class of 2026 offensive lineman Bear McWhorter Sunday afternoon.
McWhorter committed to Arkansas on social media ahead of Week 1 of the 2023 season, 3 years before he will take the field as a collegiate athlete. The high school sophomore stands at 6-4, 297 pounds and attends Cass HS in Cartersville, Georgia.

The Razorbacks are obviously getting a head start on future recruiting classes, because this is the Razorbacks’ 2nd pledge of the 2026 cycle thus far, joining California-based ATH Tay Lockett.
McWhorter is not rated by 247Sports due to his class, but you can tell his prowess for the game by his wildy impressive offer sheet as just a HS sophomore. Arkansas beat out the likes of Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, Auburn, Florida State and many more.
