Alabama Arby’s employee jailed after throwing hot grease on drive-thru customer, police say

A Hueytown fast-food restaurant worker is behind bars after police mentioned the employee threw scorching grease on a buyer.

The incident occurred about 3:15 p.m. Saturday at Arby’s, police mentioned. Officers responded to the restaurant on a report of an altercation and arrived to search out the drive-thru buyer affected by burns.

Hueytown Hearth and Rescue offered medical therapy after which transported the sufferer to UAB Hospital. A situation has not been launched.

Nobody else was injured.

The worker was taken into custody on the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
