Vt. voters encouraged to update voter registration before September

MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont’s secretary of state is reminding all Vermont voters that they are going to be mailed a poll for the November election and is urging them to replace or verify their voter registration data by the top of this month.

The overall election will mark the primary common normal election poll mailing beneath Act 60, which was authorized by the Legislature final 12 months.

“Right here in Vermont, and in purple and blue states throughout the nation, common poll mailing has confirmed to be a safe and efficient approach of accelerating choices for Vermont voters,” Secretary of State Jim Condos stated in a press release. “Whether or not you intend to vote early in-person, by mail, or on the polls on Election Day, guaranteeing your voter registration data is updated will stop any delays in receiving the poll that’s mailed to you.”

Voters can go to MyVoterPage to verify or replace their data.
