Rhode Island State PD hold ceremony for Ruby
The Rhode Island State Police held a ceremony on Friday to say goodbye to K9 Ruby, the topic of the Netflix film Rescued By Ruby. Ruby was a neighborhood rescue canine adopted and skilled by Captain Dan O’Neill. Ruby and Dan grew to become well-known for rescuing the son of the lady who helped get Ruby adopted. Dan and Ruby have been an inseparable pair for the previous 11 years and Ruby was a treasured member of each the State Police and the O’Neill household. Ruby had most cancers and died final weekend.
