Governor Dan McKee has directed Rhode Island state flags to be flown at half-staff in any respect state amenities and buildings.

The flags will stay at half-staff till sundown on the day of interment in reminiscence of Command Sergeant Main Richard Winkelman, who served because the full-time Senior Enlisted Advisor for the 56th Troop Command, Rhode Island Nationwide Guard.
