The Rhode Island State Police (RISP) introduced on Sunday the passing of Ok-9 Ruby, age 11 ½.
She was euthanized on Friday, Might 13 following a sudden, acute, and untreatable sickness.

Weaver, RISP Superintendent. “Her partnership with Corporal O’Neil was a particular one and their search and rescue work in our Ok-9 Unit was an amazing service to the Rhode Islanders who’ve wanted their assist. About Ruby
Ok-9 Ruby served with the Rhode Island State Police for 11 years and was dealt with by Corporal Daniel O’Neil.
She was a mixed-breed canine who was adopted from the Rhode Island SPCA and was one of many first shelter canines educated to serve with RISP.
