Woman's Body Found In Monongahela River Near Sandcastle


WEST HOMESTEAD, PA — Police, fire and EMS personnel were called to the shoreline near Sandcastle Water Park after a female body was found in the Monongahela River.

The cause and manner of death and the person’s identity will come from the Allegheny County Office of the Medical Examiner, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety officials.

Additional information was not immediately available.
