A brand new exhibit on show Pittsburg State College’s downtown campus, Block 22, was created by college students enrolled in portrait pictures within the Division of Graphics and Imaging Applied sciences.

“PSU Scholar Portrait Work,” was directed and put in in a gallery at Root Coffeehouse & Creperie, 402 N. Broadway, by affiliate professor Rion Huffman and educating assistant Jeren Kent.

“Every scholar practiced strategies in portraiture and selected a favourite picture for the gallery,” Huffman mentioned. “Some are conventional, others are extra summary. The central theme is creativity.”

A reception can be held at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Might 12, for the general public to satisfy the photographers and listen to about their course of in addition to technical points of their pictures.

Huffman, an award-winning photographer himself, credited domestically owned Millers Skilled Imaging (MPIX) for offering the scholars with top quality printing providers.
