Published poets to read from works at Pittsburg coffeehouse

PITTSBURG, Kan. — Three printed poets will learn from their most up-to-date works from 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Root Coffeehouse & Creperie, 402 N. Broadway, Suite A.

The poets are Jason Ryberg, from Kansas Metropolis, an artist-in-residence at The Prospero Institute of Disquieted P/o/e/t/i/c/s and the Osage Arts Group; Timothy Tarkelly, from Southeast Kansas, who has had a number of works seem in Flyover Nation, The Jupiter Evaluation and The Each day Drunk; and Mack Thorn, from St. Louis, who has had works seem in Badjacket zine and the Whiskey Rye Evaluation.

Copies of their books will probably be obtainable for buy. The readings are free and open to the general public.
