Philadelphia man found shot in head, wrapped up in tarp: Police

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Philadelphia police are investigating after a person’s physique was discovered wrapped in a tarp together with his palms and toes tied.

In line with police, officers had been known as to the 2800 block of Ruth Road within the metropolis’s Kensington part at about 12:35 p.m. Friday.

A 34-year-old man, who has since been recognized as Sirius Star, was present in a vacant lot, wrapped in a tarp together with his palms and toes tied up, police stated.

Star was pronounced lifeless on the scene.

Police stated he had been shot within the head, however his physique might be taken to the Medical Examiners workplace to find out an official reason behind loss of life.

No arrests have been made and no weapon was recovered from the scene, police stated.

The investigation is ongoing.
