Gov. Tom Wolf calls for $204M to help older Pa. residents with disabilities cover home expenses

HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf needs to supercharge a program that helps older Pennsylvanians and people with disabilities cowl their mortgage and hire.

Wolf spoke Thursday morning in Bethlehem, Pa., in an try and name for $204 million in extra funding for the property tax rebate program.

The cash would come from federal funding the state acquired from the American Rescue Plan for pandemic restoration.

The state Normal Meeting nonetheless has to approve the plan.
