Drivers lend helping hand to Florida trooper who was attacked during traffic stop

FLORIDA (WPVI) — Drivers lent a serving to hand to a Florida Freeway Patrol Officer when he was attacked throughout a visitors cease.

Sprint digicam video from the incident on March 18 exhibits the trooper with 24-year-old Alexander Delgado, who was strolling alongside the freeway.

Throughout a search, police say Delgado started arguing with the trooper, punched him within the face, and tried to run.

Passersby stopped to assist the trooper, who ended up with a bloody nostril.

Delgado was taken into custody.
