ROME, N.Y. – Oneida County Sheriff’s had been known as to the Rome Motel positioned at 8257 Turin Highway within the Metropolis of Rome for stories of an assault round 12:50 Saturday morning.
Upon arrival, police say they discovered a person who suffered a stab wound to his left arm. The person was transported to Rome Memorial Hospital.
Police say throughout their investigation, the person and a girl who was discovered on the scene fabricated a narrative of what had occurred. After reviewing surveillance video, police discovered a bodily home incident happened in entrance of their two youngsters.
25-year-old Diamond Phillips of Scranton, Pennsylvania was recognized as the first attacker by police. Phillips was taken into custody and charged with Endangering the welfare of a kid.
Police say the person was uncooperative about giving details about who brought about him the stab wound and refused to press any costs.
