Pennsylvania State Police reports: road rage, police pursuit, New Yorker arrested in vehicle theft
The latest new reports from the Pennsylvania State Police Media station:
Jan. 22
Stolen car: Troopers attempted to stop a stolen 2017 Infiniti Q50 on Interstate 95 south in Ridley about 12:30 a.m. The driver fled and a pursuit ensued. It crashed in Tinicum Township and the driver fled on foot. Troopers arrested Elijah Grady, 18, of Middletown, Delaware. He was also found to be carrying narcotics.
Jan. 20
Harassment: At 5:37 p.m., troopers responded to Painters Crossing in Chadds Ford for a incident where a man attempted to strike a 50-year-old woman and hold her down by the wrists.
Jan. 14
Theft charges: Troopers arrested a 36-year-old Brooklyn woman, Davika Ramtahal, on receiving stolen property in Upper Darby relating to a van trailer. The victim was a 26-year-old New York man.
Dec. 11
Retail theft: A 47-year-old Wilmington man was charged after walking out of Wegman’s in Concord without paying for $204 in goods.
Dec. 8
DUI: A 22-year-old Philadelphia woman was charged with driving under the influence after her 2008 Nissan Altima struck a utility pole at 3:04 a.m. in the 100 block of Dilworthtown Road in Thornbury Township.
Dec. 3
DUI: At 1:25 a.m. Troopers stopped a 2008 Subaru on Interstate 95 south in Tinicum. It was found the 31-year-old male operator, a resident of Chester was driving under the influence.
Dec. 2
DUI: Troopers stopped a white Chevrolet Impala on Interstate 95 north in Tinicum after observing traffic violations. The driver, a 36-year-old male from Philadelphia, was found to be under the influence of controlled substances as well as being in the possession of such and was arrested.
Nov. 27
Criminal mischief: Troopers investigating the cutting of Christmas lights valued at $19 on three separate occasions on Hunting Card Lane in Concord.
Nov. 22
Road rage: A 34-year-old Claymont man had his windshield smashed in a road rage incident on Interstate 95 north at 8:40 a.m. Troopers said a suspect has been identified.
Nov. 12
Theft: A 55-year-old woman reported the theft of her wallet from a vehicle on Woodland Avenue in Middletown.

Cash reward offered for information leading to Pennsylvania cold case homicide resolution
LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A cash reward is being offered for anyone who has information surrounding a 2021 cold case homicide in Lebanon County.
The $2,000 reward is for anyone who has information that can solve the case of the death of 35-year-old Zachary Lauderman, according to State Police.
Lauderman was found dead with two gunshot wounds to his head in his home, located along Ulsh lane in Bethel Township Sept. 10 just before 3 p.m., according to Troopers.

Philadelphia Auto Show begins this weekend at the Pennsylvania Convention Center
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — The Philadelphia Auto Show is about to get underway at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
It kicks off this weekend, but on Thursday Mayor Cherelle Parker and auto show executives gave us a preview of all the fun.
Organizers say this will be one of the largest shows in its 123-year history.
Car enthusiasts will get a chance to see the latest lineup from manufacturers around the globe.
“With more manufacturers, the longest track, Camp Jeep back on display… there truly is something for everyone,” said Jeff Glanzmann of Glanzmann Subaru.
That also includes classic cars and Hollywood rides from favorite films and shows, all of which will be showcased on the 600,000 square foot exhibit floor.
The Auto Show opens to the public on Saturday and runs until Jan. 20.

Firefighters battle 2-alarm house fire in Chester, Pa., amid sub-freezing temperatures

Firefighters in Chester, Pennsylvania, dealt with sub-freezing temperatures while battling the flames during a house fire.
CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) — Firefighters in Chester, Pennsylvania, dealt with sub-freezing temperatures while battling the flames during a house fire.
Authorities say the fire broke out in a three-story twin home at 1 a.m. on Thursday in the 200 block of West 7th Street. It grew to two alarms before firefighters were able to get it under control.
Help arrived from first responders in neighboring communities in Delaware County.
Officials said they don’t know what sparked it yet.
No injuries have been reported.
