40,000 pounds of chicken nuggets spilled onto Pennsylvania highway

April 27 (UPI) — A Pennsylvania freeway was closed for a number of hours Wednesday morning when an overturned tractor-trailer spilled its load of 40,000 kilos of rooster nuggets onto the roadway.

Police stated the truck driver misplaced management of the car about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday and the car overturned within the southbound lanes of Route 309, close to West Rockhill Township in Bucks County.

The truck, which had been carrying 40,000 kilos of rooster nuggets, spilled its contents into the roadway and shoulder space of the freeway.

The driving force was not injured.

Police stated the freeway was closed for a number of hours Wednesday morning whereas the rooster nuggets had been cleared from the scene.

The Sellersville Volunteer Fireplace Division shared photographs from the crash scene on Fb.

“The reason for the incident is below investigation,” the fireplace division stated.
