Panthers have 4-goal 3rd in 4-2 comeback win over Devils

SUNRISE, Fla. — Sam Reinhart scored two of Florida’s 4 third-period objectives and the Panthers rallied to beat the New Jersey Devils 4-2 on Saturday evening.

Aleksander Barkov and Matthew Tkachuk additionally scored and Sergei Bobrovsky made 32 saves. The Panthers saved tempo within the Jap Convention wild-card race, extending their factors streak to 6 at 5-0-1.

Nico Hischier and Jesper Boqvist scored within the second interval for New Jersey and rookie goalie Akira Schmid made 36 saves. The Devils have misplaced three straight.

The Panthers then scored twice inside a span of a minute as Reinhart deflected a Brandon Montour shot previous Schmid at 7:54. Tkachuk beat Schmid off a backhander following a move from Carter Verhaeghe.
