New Jersey invests $21 million in climate change projects

JERSEY CITY, N.J. — New Jersey is investing $21 million in initiatives to assist combat local weather change.

Fifteen million {dollars} will likely be ear-marked for nature-based infrastructure initiatives to revive salt marshes, sea grass beds and forests in coastal, woodland and concrete areas.

Six million {dollars} will assist communities throughout the state buy electrical autos, together with rubbish and dump vehicles, in addition to electrical ambulances.

That cash may also assist assist an electrical automobile sharing undertaking in Jersey Metropolis.
