June 19 (UPI) — Authorities in New Hampshire mentioned three folks have been handled at a neighborhood hospital after they have been compelled to leap into the Piscataqua River with their two canine because the yacht they have been aboard grew to become engulfed in flames.
New Hampshire State Police mentioned in a press release that they have been notified of the hearth at 4 p.m. Saturday. The yacht, named Elusive, was heading towards Wentworth Marina in New Fort when one of many passengers seen black smoke under deck.
Inside minutes, the boat was engulfed in smoke, forcing its three passengers and their two canine to leap overboard, the police mentioned, figuring out the passengers as New Canaan, Conn., residents Arthur Watson, 67, and Diane Watson, 57, and Jupiter, Fla., resident Jarrod Tubbs, 33.
