ROCHESTER, N.H. (WHDH) – New Hampshire’s attorney general is asking for assistance in solving a cold case.

Michael Mowry III, 19, was killed on Labor Day weekend in 2020.

Investigators recently publicly confirmed Mowry was shot to death inside his bedroom during a home invasion in Rochester. The attorney general’s office said they believe the robbery was carried out by “four male adult suspects wearing masks”.

Authorities believe that the men responsible have ties to Haverhill, Mass. and the greater Merrimack Valley area.

Deadly motorcycle crash in Dorchester, NH

New Hampshire State Police are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash in Grafton County.

It happened on Route 118 in Dorchester near Town House Road shortly after 5:00 Saturday evening. Troopers say an eastbound motorcycle failed to make it around a curve, crossed the center line and struck an oncoming car. A passenger on the motorcycle — Madeline Tredo, 23, of Meredith, New Hampshire — was killed. There was no indication from investigators if anyone else was injured, nor did they disclose the motorcycle operator’s name.

Route 118 was closed near the scene for several hours. Troopers are asking anyone who was nearby at the time of the crash to call Troop F in Twin Mountain at (603) 846-3333.
