Students at several Massachusetts schools walk out to protest gun violence
MELROSE – College students at a number of colleges round Massachusetts and the nation are holding walkouts on Wednesday, demanding motion on gun security.
Melrose Excessive Faculty college students walked out of college at midday, chanting “books not bullets” outdoors the constructing. Comparable walkouts had been deliberate in Framingham, Stoneham, and Sudbury.
The protests are a part of a nationwide scholar walkout organized within the wake of final week’s lethal capturing in Nashville, Tennessee.
College students are calling on lawmakers to do extra to guard them.
