Don’t bring backpacks, large handbags and coolers to the Boston Marathon, police say

Massachusetts State Police are asking individuals to not carry backpacks, giant purses, coolers and extra to the Boston Marathon Monday.

“With the Boston Marathon days away, we remind that spectators alongside the course or inside any official BAA venue are discouraged from possessing sure objects,” the Fb put up states. “These in possession of any of the next objects, even when legally possessed, might lead to delays when passing by means of safety checkpoints.”

The checklist contains a few dozen objects, starting from backpacks to fireworks.
