University of Maine announces climate change workshop for educators

ORONO — The College of Maine Local weather Change Institute and Summer time College will host the primary Local weather Change Workshop for pre-Ok–12 educators this summer time. “Local weather Change Instructing Instruments” is designed for educators to study extra about local weather change and, particularly, the way to deliver this necessary topic space into the classroom in significant methods for college students.

Contributors could select to attend for graduate credit score or skilled growth CEUs. The 2-day on-line workshop can be held July 12–13. The graduate credit score possibility features a three-week on-line course, July 5–22, along with workshop attendance.

The occasion will characteristic famend specialists in local weather change from the UMaine Local weather Change Institute, the Gulf of Maine Analysis Middle, the Maine Division of Schooling and panelists from the Maine Changemakers Community.
