Sunny and cold today in Connecticut; more rain, wind on the way
NOW: Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Jonathan Cubit says today is a quiet day before another rain event moves in for the weekend. Highs will be in the lower 40s, mix of sun and clouds. No more rain but runoff continues into the rivers and streams.
Flood warnings on the Housatonic River and Still River impact north Fairfield County. Still River at Brookfield, has major flooding, Yantic along with the Housatonic river will continue to be monitored as they are reaching record levels.

Temperatures will stay in the 30s all through next week with overnight lows in the teens/20s. There is the potential for another storm passing south on Tuesday/Wednesday, but this one could be cold enough to bring snow back to the area.
