DEPTFORD TOWNSHIP, New Jersey (WPVI) — A Deptford Township police officer has died after being shot within the line of obligation again in March.
Motion Information has realized that 27-year-old Officer Robert “Bobby” Shisler handed away on the hospital on Might 7.
The Deptford Township Police Division launched a message on Fb confirming the officer’s passing and expressing their condolences.

Authorities say the capturing initially occurred round 12:38 p.m. on March 10, whereas Officer Shisler performed a pedestrian cease on Delsea Drive in Deptford Township.

Gunfire then erupted within the space of Doman Avenue. Authorities say Officer Shisler and the pedestrian, 24-year-old Mitchell Negron Jr., had been each injured by gunfire.
Negron was pronounced lifeless on the scene.
Sources say a fellow officer utilized a tourniquet earlier than Officer Shisler was taken to Cooper Medical Heart in a patrol automobile.
