MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – 5 grants totaling $2.5 million had been awarded to Wisconsin well being care services to assist enhance entry to youngster telepsychiatry companies, together with at one group that serves sufferers within the counties of Rock and Jefferson.

The Wisconsin Division of Well being Companies defined Tuesday that every one-year, $250,000 grant will assist 5 well being care organizations recruit and retain extra psychiatrists and behavioral well being professionals. DHS Secretary-designee Karen Timberlake stated the services that had been awarded funds work with rural, suburban and concrete communities in Wisconsin.

  • Kids’s Wisconsin, Wauwatosa serving Kenosha, Milwaukee, Racine, Ozaukee, Washington, and Waukesha counties.
  • Kenosha Group Well being Middle, Kenosha serving Kenosha County.
  • NorthLakes Group Clinic, Iron River serving Ashland, Barron, Bayfield, Eau Claire, Iron, Langlade, Oconto, Polk, Worth, Sawyer, and Washburn counties, in addition to the Unhealthy River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, Crimson Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, and St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin.
