South Dakota Mines invests in student success

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – On Monday, South Dakota Mines devoted the Vanderboom Workplace of Pupil Success, honoring alumnus Steve Vanderboom and his spouse, Julie.

The couple donated $1 million to the college to develop and renovate the workplace in Deveraux Library.

Whereas the main target of the scholar success workplace is to assist first-year college students transition to being on campus, the workplace helps all college students of their journey to commencement. The Vanderboom Workplace of Pupil Success brings first-year advisers, tutoring companies, and the testing middle beneath one roof.
