BROOKINGS, S.D. — On the South Dakota State FFA Conference, 28 members from the state have been acknowledged for receiving FFA’s highest honor.
Lower than 1% of members obtain this diploma. Recipients of this diploma have been awarded their gold key and go to stroll throughout the stage on the 2021 Nationwide FFA Conference and obtain the coveted FFA American Diploma.
As the best diploma achievable within the Nationwide FFA Group, the American FFA Diploma reveals an FFA member’s dedication to his or her chapter and state FFA affiliation. The conference wrapped up on Tuesday to greater than 2,000 members attending in Brookings.
“At Conference, we noticed an incredible quantity of vitality coming from the scholars,” stated SD FFA Basis Government Director Gerri Eide. “They’re very excited. They’re very motivated. They’re very devoted to the ag business. So, so many sponsors that we talked to this week, they’re like, that is precisely what I wanted. I wanted to go house, I can go house and say, ‘Sure, the way forward for agriculture is safe with these individuals as our leaders.’”
