COLUMBUS, Ohio – Eight Buckeyes competed on the Bob Del Rosa Ohio Intercollegiate Open Sunday on the Veale Athletic Heart on the campus of Case Western Reserve College in Cleveland. Seven superior to the finals of their respective brackets and 6 gained championships.

Del Rosa, a Spartan Membership Corridor of Fame member, served Case Western Reserve College for 49 years with 46 seasons on the helm of the Spartan wrestling program. As a wrestling coach, he produced 4 nationwide champions, 37 nationwide qualifiers, 18 All-People, and 35 Scholar All-People. In 1996, Del Rosa was inducted into the NCAA Division III Wrestling Corridor of Fame.

The occasion returned after a two-year hiatus.
