LEROY TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WOIO) -Dozens gathered on the VFW in Leroy Township Saturday Morning to recollect Employees Sgt. Kyle R. McKee.

Sergeant McKee, a member of peacekeeping operations with the Multinational Power and Observers mission, was conducting a mission in Egypt in Nov. 2020 when he sadly and tragically misplaced his life with 4 different honorable Armed Forces heroes in a Black Hawk helicopter crash.

19 Information was there when his physique arrived at Dover Air Power Base to convey the hero residence.

He was laid to relaxation at at Williams Cemetery in his residence city of Leroy Township.

Governor Mike DeWine signed Home Invoice 291 into legislation in April, designating a portion of Route 86 because the Particular Sergeant Kyle R. McKee Memorial Freeway.

His mother and father and youngsters had been emotional after they revealed the signal.
