Joseph (Bud) Shaffer, Jr., Mineral Ridge, Ohio

MINERAL RIDGE, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Joseph (Bud) Shaffer, Jr. took a peaceable morning nap and wakened in Heaven on Could 10, 2022. He had been briefly sick however his passing was sudden and devastating to his household.

Bud was born to Joe, Sr. and Elsie Shaffer on November 30, 1946.

He graduated from Mineral Ridge Excessive Faculty and went on to work with the UAW at Basic Motors for 42 years.

Bud coached his daughters softball groups and was President of the Mineral Ridge Band Boosters for a few years as his youngsters made their manner by way of college. He was a really lively father in his youngsters lives and went above and past to assist them in no matter endeavor they selected. Bud beloved to golf and work on automobiles along with his son and grandson. He loved cheering on his granddaughter Jersey at her volleyball video games and his grandson Joey as he performed the drums for the Howland Marching Band. Papa will probably be particularly missed by Jersey as she was raised by her Grammy & Papa as if she was their youngest daughter.

Our household takes consolation in figuring out Bud is now reunited along with his beloved canine Benji who he missed dearly.

Bud was properly beloved in his group however nobody beloved him extra then his household.

Bud is survived by his loving spouse of 18 years, Antoinette Shaffer; his sister Connie Denk; his son Joe Shaffer, Sr. (Nicole); his daughters Becky Blackburn (Tom) and Jill Colburn (Chuck); his step-sons Scott Tucker (Sarah) and Jeff Tucker (Sammi); his grandchildren Jessica Rolland (Justin); Jenna Colburn, Christopher Cole (Abbie), Sabrina Nicholson, Hannah Colburn, Jersey Tucker, Joey Shaffer Jr., Nathan Colburn, Amara Davis, Gunner Jack, Jeffrey Tucker Jr and Julie Tucker. Bud will even be sorely missed by his seven great-grandchildren and lots of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bud was preceded in dying by dad and mom and his sister Betty Lovas.

In honor of Bud’s needs no providers will probably be held.
