14 News Anchor Randy Moore wins Ohio Valley Emmy Award

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Our 14 Information staff is celebrating considered one of our anchors on a job nicely performed.

14 Information anchor Randy Moore received the Nationwide Academy of Tv Arts and Sciences-Ohio Valley Emmy Award, Saturday night time in Columbus, Ohio.

The 58th Emmy Awards for the Ohio Valley Chapter included 60 stations throughout Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia.

Moore received the award within the “information anchor” class over three different nominees primarily for his work overlaying the Dec. 10 tornadoes in western Kentucky.

Moore is an Evansville native who started his profession in journalism in 1980.

He has received a number of awards together with regional Emmys and Murrows, in addition to a nationwide Murrow. He has additionally received awards from the Indiana Broadcasters Affiliation and the Related Press.
