Gov. Doug Burgum has named College of North Dakota scholar Sadie Hanson to the State Board of Increased Training.
Hanson, of Grand Forks, will start her one-year time period July 1 as the coed consultant of the panel, which has eight voting members together with the coed consultant, and two advisory, nonvoting members representing North Dakota College System college and employees.
Hanson will probably be a senior within the fall at UND. She is learning public affairs and advertising, and pursuing a grasp’s diploma in public administration. She has served as commissioner of governmental affairs for UND Scholar Authorities, is a member of UND’s Strategic Planning Committee and Scholar Ambassadors, and is concerned in numerous group teams.
“Sadie’s expertise in scholar management positions throughout UND and Grand Forks make her well-positioned to symbolize her friends and drive transformational change for the way forward for North Dakota’s larger schooling system,” Burgum mentioned in a press release.

The board oversees the college system of 11 public schools and universities, together with Bismarck State School.
Six finalists had been named earlier this week for 2 voting member positions on the board. Burgum will make these appointments later.
