MINOT, N.D. — Central Cass senior Decontee Smith scored a game-high 31 factors and added the game-winning basket in extra time Friday night time on the Minot State Dome.

The Squirrels edged Rugby 53-52 within the North Dakota Class B ladies state basketball semifinals to advance to Saturday’s championship sport. Smith scored the profitable factors on a drive to the basket with 30 seconds to play in extra time.

Smith additionally grabbed 13 rebounds to go together with her game-high level whole.

Prime-seeded Thompson held off Garrison for a 55-50 victory to advance to the championship sport. No. 2-seeded Central Cass performs Thompson at 8 p.m. Saturday for the Class B crown.
